ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – Nearly 250 elementary students gathered in the Valley View Elementary School gym for a rally set up by the Packers and several other local groups and leaders to promote health and wellness.
Joined by Chef Carla Hall and Packers legend Rob Davis, the students celebrated a ribbon cutting for state-of-the-art meal equipment to fight student hunger.

Also in attendance was NFL legend Bobby Taylor, who led a Flag Football Clinic and an NFL Flag-In-School-Kit unboxing. The event also featured GENYOUth, a nationwide organization that helps schools remove barriers to student meals.
The event highlighted the work of ‘Taste of the Draft,’ a supper club and football-themed event raising money for nutrition grants for 90 Wisconsin schools, to honor the 90th anniversary of the NFL Draft.
