ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Oneida Casino Hotel are warning Wisconsinites of fake ad scams circulating on social media promoting online gambling.
A release from the Oneida Casino Hotel states that there is a scam making its way through Facebook and Instagram involving fake ads that falsely represent the casino.
The counterfeit ads are reportedly promoting online gambling under the Oneida Casino Hotel name and offering false rewards like a $1,000 welcome bonus and 150 free spins. They then attempt to collect personal and financial information from users.

Officials say the ads and pages are fraudulent. The Casino does not operate any online gaming or promotional giveaways through social media ads.
We are actively reporting this fraud to Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and hope to have the scam pages and ads removed as soon as possible, but in the meantime, your vigilance is the strongest defense. Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty.
