SEVASTOPOL, Wis. (WFRV) — Authorities have identified the person who died in a two-vehicle collision in Sevastopol on July 25.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the deceased as 71-year-old Thonglo Nonarath of Green Bay. An autopsy was performed at the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office, with results still pending.

Deputies were called to the crash at the intersection of State Highway 42 and County Road P around 9:55 p.m. on July 25.
Preliminary investigation indicates a Tesla truck, driven by a 43-year-old Green Bay man, was traveling southbound on Highway 42 and passing multiple vehicles. At the same time, an SUV driven by a 22-year-old Sturgeon Bay man was also southbound on Highway 42, attempting a left turn onto County Road P.
The SUV collided with the Tesla during the turn, likely due to the passing maneuver.

The Tesla driver and three passengers were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Nonarath was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver received medical attention at the scene and was released.
The crash remains under investigation.
