12PM Update: An AIR QUALITY ALERT has been issued statewide until noon on Thursday as wildfire smoke will likely drop into the area tonight and linger into tomorrow.
A few light showers went by late last night, and some lingering clouds will be out there Tuesday morning. We will be getting sunshine again late morning and afternoon when it becomes hot and muggy! Highs in the middle to upper 80s, but it will feel like the lower 90s with that high humidity. We’ll watch out a couple isolated thunderstorms this afternoon between 3pm and 9pm, but most will not get additional rain.
Tonight, those isolated storms will depart in the evening, leaving partly cloudy skies. Humidity drops overnight as the low hits 64 degrees.
Less humid and mostly cloudy Wednesday. The high significantly cooler around 76 degrees. There is a chance for rain in the afternoon for our southern counties.
Sunny and comfy Thursday with a high of 75 degrees.
Sunny and comfy Friday with a high of 76 degrees.
