Officers stood outside and inside, serving customers and taking orders while holding the doors for those seeking a sweet treat and a taste of a Wisconsin staple.
The Westowne Drive Culver’s will be staffed with officers for the fundraiser again on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with 10% of all sales from 9 a.m. to midnight going directly towards the Police Lights of Christmas program.
The program gives law enforcement agencies the money to purchase gift cards. These gift cards then go back into the community, as agencies distribute them to those who are struggling and in need of help during the holiday season.
Officers in De Pere are at the Culver’s located at 1499 Lawrence Drive, in the same parking lot as the Walmart Supercenter near I-41. The De Pere Police Department had officers at the location from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and will return at 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
