MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman in southern Wisconsin was arrested over the weekend after allegedly hitting a man in the head multiple times during an argument over social media posts.
According to the Madison Police Department, on July 27, around 1:30 p.m., officers were sent to the 400 block of West Wilson Street for a report of a disturbance. Authorities say a woman hit a victim multiple times in the head.
The victim was identified as a man, and he was reportedly taken to the hospital for his injuries. The release says the woman and man were arguing over social media posts.

It was also mentioned that the fight was captured on cell phone video. The woman was identified as a 26-year-old from Madison.
She was arrested on July 28 on multiple charges.
