VERNON/MUKWONAGO, Wis. (WFRV) – On August 4, 2025, it has been exactly eighteen months since then‑16‑year‑old Isaiah Marley Cramer disappeared after leaving the Norris Treatment Facility in Mukwonago on February 4, 2024.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) continues to coordinate closely with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, releasing updated posters that are now being displayed on gas‑station digital screens across Wisconsin throughout August, in hopes of generating new tips.
Active death investigation underway in Appleton after body was found in wooded area
According to police, Isaiah was last seen on a trail camera near Maple Avenue and Center Drive in the Village of Vernon, just blocks from the residential facility, where he was staying at the time. He left without his daily epilepsy medication. His headphones, later recovered in nearby woods and positively identified through DNA testing, remain one of the few physical clues.
Family members describe Isaiah as around 5′8″ to 5′10″, weighing approximately 200 – 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark green sweatshirt, green jogging pants, and black gloves, and suffers from mental health conditions and epilepsy.
Despite extensive efforts over the past year and a half, including volunteer searches, drone and K‑9 teams, and Equusearch Midwest involvement, officials say no confirmed sightings have surfaced since the trail camera image.
Anyone with information is urged to contact NCMEC at 1‑800‑THE‑LOST (1‑800‑843‑5678) or the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office at 262‑446‑5070.
Isaiah’s father, Vance Cramer, vows: “I can’t stop until he’s found,” while his mother, Kim, writes a heartfelt message urging her son return if he sees the notice anywhere,

“To our dear Isaiah,
If this reaches you, we send it with all of our love and hope that it finds you and brings you back to us. You have been missing since February 4, 2024. There have been many searches for you. Papers with your sweet face have been sent all over the nation. We are just wrecked trying to find you. I find myself even following with my eyes a person on a bike that looks like you or driving past the basketball hoops where you used to play just hoping you will show up.
I wake up in the middle of the night every night for hours and pray for you in the darkness. Praying to God that you are either safe with Jesus or safe with somebody who’s protecting you through the prayers that I send. Papa has been setting up searches. Your friends and people who worked with you all step up to help find you. They’re all on Team Isaiah searching.
Isaiah, please come back to us. We know how good you are in your soul and want to take away your troubles, we always have. If these words reach you, please call us, please tell us where you are, and we will come get you immediately. We, along with your grandma and grandpa Marley, love you. Please come back to us.
Love, Mom”.
