GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – As the NFL preseason kicks off, the Green Bay Packers are calling on fans across Wisconsin and beyond to show their team spirits with the return of Green and Gold Friday.
According a press release from the team, starting Friday, August 8, Packers fans are encouraged to wear green and gold every Friday throughout the 2025 season. In return, they can score exclusive discounts, prizes and giveaways from participating partners including CITGO, Qdoba, and Fleet Farm.
The Black Crowes to highlight the Packers “Kickoff Weekend”
Here’s what fans can get just for wearing Packers gear on Fridays:
- CITGO: Get 6 cents off per gallon of gas at participating Wisconsin locations. Fans must download the Club CITGO app and use their Alt ID to redeem the deal.
- Qdoba: Snag a free order of chips and queso with an entree at participating locations across the state.
- Fleet Farm: Receive a free 3 to 6 oz. snack bag with any purchase when wearing green and gold in-store.
Fans are also encouraged to share their team pride on social media using the hashtag #GGFriday. Selected photos will be features each Friday on packers.com, packerseverywhere.com, and the Packers’ social media channels.
