Alleged shots fired in North Fond du Lac, police investigating

NORTH FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in North Fond du Lac are investigating an incident in which one man was allegedly shot at on Monday afternoon in front of his home.

According to a release from the North Fond du Lac Police Department, officers responded shortly before 3:00 p.m. to the 700 block of Wisconsin Avenue after a man called and claimed to have been shot at.

North Fond du Lac officers and Fond du Lac County deputies arrived on the scene almost immediately and said they were unable to find a potential shooter.

The victim reported to authorities that two men had driven by his home following an argument and the passenger of the vehicle fired a single gunshot at him.

Police say the victim and the alleged driver and shooter are known to each other and the incident appears to be isolated.
