Efforts to find Elijah Vue continue: FBI concludes aerial search, manholes searched throughout Manitowoc County

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – The Two Rivers Police Department has provided an update to its search for missing Wisconsin toddler, Elijah Vue. Vue went missing on February 20, 2024.

According to the Two Rivers PD, search efforts for Vue have continued over the last several weeks, with the FBI concluding its aerial search that began in April. It was also noted that the Wisconsin Drone Network also completed several more searches.

Authorities stated that Two Rivers Water and Light, and Manitowoc Public Utilities assisted investigators in further searches of manholes throughout Manitowoc County.

Investigators say they continue to analyze the ‘extremely large amount’ of video and other data and follow up on various leads as they come in.

We encourage participation in coordinated and legally permissible search efforts for Elijah. We have also remained in contact with Elijah’s family with assistance from DCI regarding the efforts of our searches. We will continue a variety of search efforts while also investigating the circumstances regarding the disappearance of Elijah Vue and will release information as we can.
