Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday dismissed concerns about President Joe Biden’s age and mental fitness and called on voters to support him over former President Donald Trump.
Clinton, in an interview with SiriusXM’s “Mornings with Zerlina.” which was recorded on Tuesday but will air on Wednesday morning, said that people should “accept the reality” that “Joe Biden is old,” but questioned “Why would we say, ‘Oh, you know what? Yeah, he’s still getting things done and it’s going to improve my life and the life of my children and grandchildren, but he’s just too old and I don’t like seeing somebody old.’ “
The former New York Senator said that while she thinks “there’s a lot to that,” voters should “worry a lot more about Donald Trump,” the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, than Biden.
