(WFRV) – Wisconsinites craving some seafood can travel to Milwaukee to have some of the best seafood in the country, according to Yelp.
St. Paul Fish Company in Milwaukee cracked Yelp’s list of the top 100 seafood spots in 2024. On St. Paul Fish Company’s website, there appears to be another location in Mequon.
Their menu has a variety of items ranging from fish tacos to a traditional fish fry. St Paul Fish Company came in at 79 in the top 100 list. It was also the only Wisconsin restaurant to make the list.

In compiling its 2024 list of the “Top 100 Seafood Spots,” Yelp’s team limited its rankings to restaurants within the platform’s seafood category, concentrating on those with reviews that frequently mentioned the word “seafood” specifically. These eateries were then ranked based on criteria including each restaurant’s Yelp ratings and volume of reviews as of Dec. 31, 2023. Yelp’s analysts also limited the number of list entries per state, for purposes of “geographic diversity.”
