Sunny and warm going into the weekend

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Rain and cool temperatures were the focus for Thursday and Thursday night. Now, we will get back on track with warm spring temperatures and sunshine going into the weekend! A small window of rain could come along on Saturday, either the afternoon or evening. Other than that, it will be dry for most of the beginning of the inland fishing season.

Friday starts with a few clouds early on, then sunshine will come out around mid-morning and stay out the rest of the day. Highs will be in the lower 70s with that sunshine, and a touch cooler in the upper 60s near the lake. West winds on average come in around 5 to 15 miles per hour.

No worries ahead for your Friday night. One thing to look out for is our first 8pm sunset of the spring/summer season! Mainly clear with a low of 46 degrees.

Saturday looks really nice in the morning as the day starts with sunshine. Partly sunny and breezy with south/southeast winds for the afternoon around 10 to 20 miles per hour – hitting highs in the very low 70s. A weak cold front will swing through either in the afternoon or evening, and bring us a brief window of rain and maybe some embedded lightning.

A beautiful end to the weekend Sunday with wall to wall sunshine and a high near 70 degrees.
