Two people arrested after “significant amount” of drugs found during traffic stop in Wisconsin

BURNETT, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say two people were arrested on Tuesday after cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were found during a traffic stop in Wisconsin.

According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a car in the Town of Burnett and reportedly observed “suspicious behaviors” from the people inside the vehicle during the stop.

Officials say a K9 unit was brought to the scene and K9 Bak positively alerted to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle.

Deputies then searched the vehicle and found what they claimed to be a “significant amount” of cocaine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.

Two adults from Beaver Dam, 37-year-old Alan Douglas Jr. and 33-year-old Amy Komppa, were then arrested on the following potential charges:

  • Possession with intent to deliver cocaine (> 5 < 15 grams)
  • Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl (< 10 grams)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia.
